Mrs. Maria began her dance journey at age five in South America. After earning her Advanced Professional Degree in Classical Dance and performing professionally in renowned ballets including The Nutcracker, Giselle, and Don Quixote she opened her own dance studio.

After moving to the United States, Mrs. Maria continued her dance education and now brings that world-class training directly to the children of the Houston / Cypress community.

How often are classes?

Once a week throughout the month. Mini Movers (ages 3–4) are 30 minutes. Little Movers (ages 5–6) are 45 minutes. We follow the organization's calendar for breaks.

Space requirement: An open indoor space suitable for movement — no special flooring required. A classroom, gym, cafeteria, or multipurpose room works perfectly. The space should be free of clutter and large enough for children to move freely.

Minimum enrollment: A minimum of 4 enrolled students is required to hold a class at your location.

Tuition & Payment
I understand that monthly payment is due on or before the 1st of each month. No refunds will be issued for missed classes. If the instructor must cancel a class, a makeup session will be scheduled at a mutually agreed time. I may cancel enrollment with 30 days written notice to kidnmotiondance@gmail.com.
Assumption of Risk
I understand and acknowledge that participation in dance and movement activities involves inherent physical risks, including but not limited to falls, muscle strains, sprains, and other injuries. I voluntarily enroll my child with full knowledge and acceptance of these risks.
Liability Release
To the fullest extent permitted by Texas law, I hereby release, waive, and discharge KidnMotion LLC, its owner Mrs. Maria, instructors, agents, and the host organization from any and all claims arising out of my child's participation in Kid 'n' Motion classes and performances, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.
Medical Authorization
I authorize KidnMotion LLC and its instructor(s) to consent to emergency medical treatment for my child if I cannot be reached. I confirm that all medical conditions and allergies disclosed in this form are complete and accurate.
Photo & Video Consent (Optional)
I grant KidnMotion LLC permission to photograph and video my child during classes and performances for documentation and promotional purposes including the website and social media. I may withdraw this consent at any time by emailing kidnmotiondance@gmail.com.
Authority to Sign
I confirm that I am the parent or legal guardian of the child named in this enrollment form and have full legal authority to execute this agreement. I have read and agree to KidnMotion LLC's Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy available at kidnmotion.com.

1. Who We Are

KidnMotion LLC is a Texas limited liability company operating a mobile creative dance program serving children ages 3–6 in the Houston / Cypress, Texas area. The program is operated by Mrs. Maria, a professional dance instructor. You can contact us at kidnmotiondance@gmail.com.

2. COPPA Compliance & Verifiable Parental Consent

KidnMotion LLC complies fully with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), which protects the online privacy of children under 13 years of age. We do not collect personal information directly from children. All enrollment information is collected from a parent or legal guardian only.

Verifiable Parental Consent: During online enrollment at kidnmotion.com, parents and guardians provide verifiable parental consent under COPPA by completing the enrollment form, actively checking all required waiver and consent checkboxes, and typing their full legal name as a digital signature. This process constitutes a legally binding acknowledgment of consent under the Texas Uniform Electronic Transactions Act (TUETA) and COPPA.

We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child without proper consent, please contact us immediately at kidnmotiondance@gmail.com and we will delete it promptly.

3. Information We Collect

When a parent or guardian completes the enrollment form, we collect the following information:

Emergency contact name and phone
Program information: The name of the partner location (school, daycare, or church) where your child attends class.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information collected solely to operate the KidnMotion LLC program. Specifically:

  • To enroll your child in the correct class and location
  • To send you a payment confirmation and class information
  • To contact you in case of an emergency during class
  • To send semester reminders, performance information, and program updates
  • To maintain accurate attendance and health records for your child's safety

KidnMotion LLC will never sell, rent, share, or disclose your personal information or your child's information to any third party for marketing or commercial purposes.

5. How We Store & Protect Your Information

Enrollment information is stored securely in Google Sheets, accessible only to KidnMotion LLC staff (Mrs. Maria). We take the following measures to protect your data:

  • Google Sheets is protected by Google account authentication with two-factor authentication enabled
  • The enrollment data spreadsheet is set to private and not shared with any third parties
  • The website (kidnmotion.com) is hosted on Netlify with HTTPS/SSL encryption on all pages
  • Payment information is never stored by KidnMotion LLC — all payments are made directly through Venmo or Zelle

6. Photography & Video

During enrollment, parents are asked to consent to photography and video of their child during classes and performances. Photos and videos may be used to:

  • Share class highlights with enrolled families
  • Promote KidnMotion LLC on our website (kidnmotion.com)
  • Post on our social media pages including Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok

Your child's full name will never be publicly associated with photos or videos without your explicit written consent. You may withdraw photo/video consent at any time by emailing kidnmotiondance@gmail.com.

7. Your Rights as a Parent

As the parent or guardian of an enrolled child, you have the right to:

  • Review the personal information we have collected about your child
  • Request correction of any inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your child's information from our records
  • Withdraw consent for photography or video at any time
  • Opt out of non-essential communications

8. Data Retention

We retain enrollment records for the duration of your child's participation in KidnMotion LLC programs, plus one additional semester for administrative purposes. After that period, personal information is securely deleted from our records unless you request otherwise.

9. Data Breach Notification

In the event of a data breach that compromises the personal information of enrolled families, KidnMotion LLC will:

  • Notify all affected families via email within thirty (30) days of discovering the breach
  • Describe the nature of the breach and what information was affected
  • Explain the steps being taken to address and prevent future incidents
  • Provide guidance on steps families can take to protect themselves

11. Changes to This Policy

KidnMotion LLC may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify enrolled families via email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. The most current version will always be available at kidnmotion.com.

Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern your participation in KidnMotion LLC programs. By enrolling your child, you actively agree to these terms. If you have any questions please email kidnmotiondance@gmail.com before enrolling.

1. Enrollment & Payment

Enrollment is confirmed only upon receipt of full monthly rate payment. Tuition is due on or before the first class of each month. Current rates are $65 per month for Mini Movers (ages 3–4) and $70 per month for Little Movers (ages 5–6).

Payment is accepted via Venmo and Zelle. Please include your child's full name and the month being paid in the payment memo. KidnMotion LLC reserves the right to withhold a child's spot until payment is confirmed. Monthly payments not received by the 5th of the month may result in temporary suspension of enrollment.

2. Refund & Cancellation Policy

No refunds for missed classes. Tuition covers the monthly regardless of attendance. If a child misses a class for any reason, no refund or credit will be issued.

Instructor cancellations. If Mrs. Maria must cancel a scheduled class, a makeup class will be scheduled at a mutually agreed upon time. No refunds will be issued for instructor cancellations that are made up.

Cancellation policy. Families may cancel their monthly enrollment at any time with 30 days written notice sent to kidnmotiondance@gmail.com. The final monthly payment covers the 30-day notice period. No refunds will be issued for the current or final month once payment has been processed.

Partner location closure. If a partner location closes unexpectedly and classes cannot be held, KidnMotion LLC will make reasonable efforts to offer makeup classes at an alternate location or issue a prorated credit toward the following month.

3. Missed Class Policy

Classes follow the partner organization's academic calendar. KidnMotion LLC will not hold classes on days when the partner location is closed for holidays, weather, or other scheduled breaks. These closures are factored into the month schedule and do not constitute missed classes requiring makeup or refund.

4. Student Conduct & Removal Policy

KidnMotion LLC is committed to providing a safe, positive, and nurturing environment for all children. We reserve the right to remove a child from class, temporarily or permanently, in the following circumstances:

  • Repeated disruptive behavior that interferes with the learning of other students
  • Physical aggression toward other students or the instructor
  • Behavior that poses a safety risk to the child or others
  • Undisclosed medical or behavioral conditions that require specialized care beyond our program's scope

In the event of removal, KidnMotion LLC will notify the parent or guardian promptly. Refunds for remaining classes after permanent removal will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

5. Photo & Video Policy

By enrolling your child, you grant KidnMotion LLC permission to photograph and video your child during classes and performances for use in class documentation and promotional materials, including the KidnMotion LLC website and social media pages. Your child's full name will not be publicly associated with any photo or video without your explicit written consent. You may withdraw this consent at any time by emailing kidnmotiondance@gmail.com.

6. Health & Medical Disclosure

Parents and guardians are required to disclose any known medical conditions, allergies, or physical limitations that may affect their child's participation in dance classes. KidnMotion LLC is not responsible for injuries or incidents arising from undisclosed medical conditions. If a child becomes ill or is injured during class, we will contact the parent or emergency contact immediately.

7. Limitation of Liability

KidnMotion LLC and its instructor(s) shall not be liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from participation in the program except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct. By enrolling your child, you acknowledge that dance activities carry inherent physical risks and you voluntarily assume those risks on behalf of your child.

8. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute arising from these Terms & Conditions or your child's participation in the KidnMotion LLC program, the Parties agree to the following resolution process:

Step 1 — Good Faith Negotiation. The parent or guardian shall first contact KidnMotion LLC at kidnmotiondance@gmail.com to attempt to resolve the matter informally through good-faith discussion.

Step 2 — Mediation. If negotiation fails within 30 days, both Parties agree to attempt mediation through a mutually agreed mediator before pursuing any legal action.

Step 3 — Litigation. If mediation is unsuccessful, disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Harris County, Texas, under the laws of the State of Texas.

9. Data Security & Breach Notification

KidnMotion LLC takes reasonable measures to protect the personal information of enrolled families. Enrollment data including child information, parent contact details, and emergency contacts is stored securely and accessible only to KidnMotion LLC and its instructor(s).

In the event of a data breach that compromises the personal information of enrolled families, KidnMotion LLC will notify affected families within thirty (30) days of discovering the breach, describing the nature of the breach and the steps being taken to address it.

10. Data Privacy & Do Not Sell

KidnMotion LLC does not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information or your child's personal information to any third party for commercial purposes. Data collected during enrollment is used solely to operate the KidnMotion LLC dance program and communicate with enrolled families. For full details please review our Privacy Policy.

11. Texas Consumer Protection

KidnMotion LLC operates in compliance with the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act (DTPA). Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to waive any rights you may have under applicable Texas consumer protection laws. The refund and cancellation policies stated herein are disclosed clearly and in advance of enrollment and constitute the full agreement between the Parties regarding tuition and fees.

12. Changes to Terms

KidnMotion LLC reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be communicated to enrolled families via email with at least 14 days notice before taking effect.

13. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes not resolved through the process outlined in Section 8 shall be resolved in the courts of Harris County, Texas.
